Ole Lukkoye – Dyatly

Russian band Ole Lukkoye has become of the leading acts in the current psychedelic rock and trance music scene. Their new album Dyatly skillfully introduces the listener into a world of shamanic music where mesmerizing vocals, trance-like acoustic and electronic beats, electronic atmospheres and various instruments like bassoon and keyboards generate a hypnotic effect.
The album features 5 pieces, four of which are lengthy musical explorations where the musicians interweave vocal improvisations and spellbinding electroacoustic instrumental dreamtime fantasies.
The lineup on Dyatly includes Ness Yanushkovskaya on vocal improvisation; Boris Bardash on vocals, keyboards, guitar programming, gluckophone, music, lyrics; Frol on bassoon, keyboards; Yuri Lukyanchik on percussion, jembe, darbuka, drum kit; Alexander Vahivski on jambi, ngoa, dav; and Tatyana Kalmykova provides a vocal sample.
